A HISTORY IN SPORTS
Julie Rader has been teaching yoga for over 8
years. She has seen the
positive aspects of yoga for sports enhancement first hand. Julie used
visualization techniques from the age of 14 years old to earn her
national recognition in gymnastics. She continued to use visualization
and added other elements of yoga to improve her diving and soccer
skills at the collegiate level. Julie was a 3 time All-American Diver
and a All Region Soccer player. With a Bachelor of Exercise Science and
Psychology and a Master degree of Exercise Physiology, Julie draws both
personal experience and academic knowledge. She has studied yoga under
some of the most well renowned teachers in the world including Shiva
Rea, Shakti, and Swami Janakanada. Julie now certifies yoga teachers
with national Yoga Alliance approval. Her unique experience with both
yoga and athletics distinguishes her from other yoga teachers.
