YOGA FOR ATHLETES

For athletes, the goal is to reach their fullest potential in their sport.  This goal can be achieved through the assistance of Sports Yoga Training for Athletes. Through Sports Yoga Training, the goal is to improve:

Muscular Strength
Flexibility
Cardiovascular Endurance

Body Awareness

Injury Prevention

SESSIONS

Private and Team sessions are available.  The sessions consist of:

Yoga Poses - to increase flexibility, strength, and balance
Meditation and Visualization - to enhance awareness and focus
Breathing Techniques - to improve respiration and cardiovascular endurance

Private Sessions:
Designed to fit the individual needs of the athlete, whether it be enhancing personal performance or rehabilitation to overcome injuries.

Team Sessions:
Designed to target the specific muscle groups essential to the sport. Studies have shown that meditating in a group enhances both the individual and collective experience.
